This bar dates back to the 1860's and originally was used as a coach stop. The tavern would offer weary travelers a drink as they waited for their horse and carriage to arrive. Named after Mike Francis (Pat's Father), who opened the restaurant in 1958 under the name Min's Steak House , Min's quickly became a hotspot for the horsemen. As a tribute to the horsemen, hundreds of winner circle pictures grace the walls of the tavern and to this day continues to represent racing at its best!
